Rejoice, it's finally here!

Disney star Demi Lovato has released the cover art for her upcoming album, Here We Go Again, via her Twitter account!

What's more, Lovato talks about the new musical direction she's taking in Billboard magazine.

"I think Don't Forget was a lot more Jonas sounding," Lovato says of her 2008 debut album, which was largely co-written with the Jonas Brothers. "It had a little more of their feel on it. But this album is just me."

Though Demi co-wrote "Can't Stop the World" from Here We Go Again with Nick Jonas, she also collaborated with John Mayer on two songs, "World of Chances" and "Shut Up and Love Me," and teamed up with The Academy Is... frontman William Beckett on "For the Love of a Daughter," about Demi's relationship with her father after her parents' 1994 divorce.

Sounds like she's digging deep!

"I felt a little more confident this time, but I also felt like it was a little more pressure," Lovato reveals. "I feel like, for me, this is definitely a step forward. I was really, really nervous making the album, but I feel like it's come together. I'm really, really, really excited about it."

Here We Go Again will be released on July 21.

Taking a break from her pressing work duties, Demi Lovato was spotted out for a personal pampering session in Los Angeles on Wednesday (May 27).

The Disney starlet looked fully refreshed after leaving a two-hour session at a local day spa, giving a big yawn before offering up a wave to awaiting paparazzi.

Keeping her fans up to date on all of her doings, Miss Lovato looks to have had quite the busy day aside from her spa treatment.

Selena Gomez just landed in Canada a few days ago to start filming her upcoming flick, Ramona and Beezus.

The 16-year-old actress tweeted from the set, “3rd day of shooting. Joey [King] is the sweetest 9 yr old on the planet. I miss my g-paw. ‘Ramona’ is the sweetest children’s book and I hope this movie brings these characters to life, hope you guys are doing well!”

Selena stars as Ramona’s older sis Beatrice “Beezus” Quimby in the flick. The movie is set for a March 2010 release.

It turns out that Selena Gomez is having a crush on actor Zac Efron as she has been quoted by OceanUp openly admitting to Popstar! that she considers his hairstyle "so attractive." Revealing on what makes her think so, she frankly explains, "I mean all the boys kind of have this swoop going on, but if you've noticed lately Zac is doing a 40's look. I love that."

"I really actually like Zac Efron's hair," Selena frankly confesses. "Vanessa don't kill me!" the Disney star quickly adds while making a reference to Zac's actress girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens.

JustJaredJr.com is back with more Demi Lovato! In the final installment of our exclusive interview, the 16-year-old dished on Twilight, school and good pal Miley Cyrus.

JJJ: I heard you were a fan of Twilight, are you Team Edward or Team Jacob?

DL: I don’t know, I love Taylor [Lautner], so I don’t want to be Team Edward, but I love Edward’s character so I have to be. But yeah, Taylor is a really cool guy!

JJJ: What’s your favorite prop on the set of Sonny?

DL: In Tawni’s (Tiffany Thornton) dressing room, she has all this lip gloss everywhere. So each day, we’ll come to rehearsal and always go to that mirror. If our lips get dry, we’ll actually use the lip gloss that’s sitting there. Because it’s nice! They actually have some expensive lip gloss sitting there. So we’ll use it, and there’s like a different color for each day. It’s funny!

JJJ: As a girl, who do you look up to?

DL: I look up to Miley [Cyrus], to be honest…It’s because she has the thickest skin of anyone I know, and sometimes I’ll just go to her, like I’ll text her crying that this sucks, or whatever. She’s been through so much, yet she’s still so positive and so happy! It’s awesome.

JJJ: Are you still in school?

DL: I am actually about to graduate early. So I’m really focused on getting my schoolwork done. That’s why i don’t have my driver’s license, because I’ve been focusing on graduating before I start driver’s ed.

JJJ: What are your best and worst subjects in school?

DL: I used to think my worst subject was English, but now it’s ironic because I write music. And I’ve been doing really well in it, and I’ve been proud. But my favorite subjects are like, math and algebra. For some reason it’s always been easy for me. I finished Algebra 2 over the course of Camp Rock, which was like a month and a half. So the entire year of Algebra 2, I finished in a month and a half! (laughs) I’m just really focused.

JJJ: What’s a typical Lovato family night like? Do you guys watch TV or play Rock Band?

DL: No Rock Band… but my mom, my sister are my guilty pleasure is reality TV. It’s sickening that we like that stuff. It’s like a train wreck, you can’t take your eyes off it!

JJJ: What shows do you watch?

DL: Oh my gosh, I’m so embarrassed! I have never admitted to this before, but I will actually watch Rock of Love and just laugh the whole time because it is so trashy! And also True Beauty, but that one’s not so bad. It’s also because I spend so much time reading and writing music that sometimes i have to force myself to watch TV. I just got a huge TV in my room, too, it’s one of my first big splurges. A 46 inch! In my room! It’s cool, but it’s always just sitting there and it’s never on. All I do is watch John Mayer DVDs or scary movies. Other than that, I’ll just turn it on and I’m just like, I should watch some sort of television.

JJJ: In one of the opening scenes of Sonny, you’re at “Fasties.” Do you have a favorite fast food place?

DL: I don’t really like fast food, actually. The closet thing to fast food that I like is KFC and I don’t even like chicken! I like their mashed potatoes and their rolls, just because it’s Southern.

JJJ: What is your diet like? What kind of foods do you eat?

DL: I’m a really healthy eater! I should probably eat more because when you’re on the go, you just forget to eat. Every morning, I make sure I get my fruit in and I have a protein bar.
For lunch, I’ll eat a salad but sometimes I forget to eat dinner. (JJJ Note: Eat your dinner, kiddies!!!) Oh, and I eat lots of sweets!

JJJ: Which kind of cookies?

DL: Chocolate chip, only chocolate chip.

JJJ: There’s a lot of physical comedy on the show, like ketchup being thrown at you. Do you like that kind of comedy? When stuff is being thrown at you like those chicken nuggets or mustard?

DL: It’s funny, because you don’t really have to be that funny. So as long as something is being thrown at you, you don’t really have to try hard. So I guess I do like it! But what sucks is when they say ‘Cut!’ and you walk off set and you’re like, covered in egg salad, which was one of the first things I had thrown on me. I actually had an allergic reaction the day we shot that! I had to go home early because they couldn’t just cover me up with makeup since I was red and itchy! I guess I was allergic to something in egg salad! But it was actually really funny and amusing

JJJ: Grady’s [Doug Brochu] butt winds up on the Internet in one ep of Sonny, which is “bad buttlicity.” What would you do if you found pictures of your butt on the Internet?

DL: Well, that would suck! Of course, I’ve never been in that position so I guess I would apologize. Many people have been through it, so…yeah. I don’t know!

JJJ: What happens when you see your friends in that situation? Do you sympathize? Do you get mad?

DL:Well, one of the questions earlier (with other media outlets) was about how I’m a role model, and how I feel about that. I feel that the best role models are the people who have been through so much. I don’t think people give other people, who go through things like that, enough credit, because you don’t learn anything from someone who doesn’t make mistakes. And also, young girls don’t have anyone to look up to right now. Like, what, someone who’s perfect? Someone who’s not real? That just makes them feel bad about themselves. I think that when girls can relate to someone who has been through a lot and has thick skin, they can look up to that person and become a stronger person because of them.

JJJ: Tell JJJ readers about your upcoming tour.

DL: Of course! I’ll be headlining an arena tour this summer… or maybe a theater tour, that’d be awesome too. It’s a lot of pressure to sell out arenas, I don’t know if i can do it. That’d be awesome, though. I’m actually re-releasing my album, the deluxe edition! There’s new songs on there, which I’m excited about. But I’m actually changing my sound of music. This is something I really want to get out there. My life has changed for the better and I’ve become such a happy person! People might think that my style has changed because I’m falling into the whole Hollywood trap, but my style has become girlier, because I’ve become so girly and happy! It’s weird! I have more confidence now. I like to dress up, so my style has changed. It’s become more soulful rather than… rock and angry and mad. I’ve been listening to a lot of James Morrison, Jon McLaughlin and John Mayer. Those three have really influenced me. I want to go the more Duffy route…

JJJ: Who would you want as the opening act on your tour?

DL: It’d be a dream to have The Academy Is… but they’re not even in the same realm! But I think it’d be really cool to have The Veronicas. I toured with them this last summer and they opened up for me and the boys. They are really really sweet girls, so I think that’d be cool.

JJJ: Do you ever watch your sister on Desperate Housewives? Have you watched her on set?

DL: DUH! Every Sunday! No, I haven’t been to the set. It’s funny, I’ve never been to her set because I’m always doing my show. One day, I invited her (Madison De La Garza) to my set, and she said that she couldn’t make it that day. And when I asked her why, she was really hesitant. I was like, ‘What!’ and she said, ‘…I’m shooting my show.’ And I’m like ‘OH MY GOSH, it’s okay, do your thing!’ It’s funny.

JJJ: On Madison’s show, she plays a bit of an overweight girl. How do you think she’ll deal with body issues growing up in Hollywood?

DL: You know what, I’m not a stick thin girl. I’m thin, but not stick thin, and I take unflattering pictures sometimes. I used to want to be super skinny. I used to wish I was one of the thin Hollywood girls, but I don’t find that attractive or pretty. If that’s not who you are, then you shouldn’t try to shape yourself into that. And my little sister has the type of body where she’s going to be really really tall. She’s going to stretch out when she gets to puberty, which is what I did. When I was on Barney, I was really heavy. Then I lost a lot of weight

Demi Lovato made the media rounds last week in New York City, promoting her new series, Sonny With A Chance and the deluxe edition of her freshman album, Don’t Forget (out March 31).

The 16-year-old Disney darling took the time to chat with JustJaredJr.com and dish all about Sonny and her good friends, Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift.

JJJ: Hi Demi! Are you familiar with Just Jared?

DL: Uh, DUH! (laughs) And your JR site is awesome! I’ve been addicted to your regular site forever. Yeah…I try not to [read them all] to be honest. You know what I mean? It’s really just the comments that are mean.

JJJ: All of my readers know what Sonny with a Chance is all about, has anyone played any pranks on set yet?

DL: Yes! We’ll do things behind…(pause) Oh, this is so weird, like, I’m star struck! My mom would freak if she knew that, like, JARED was sitting in here! So funny! (giggles) Okay, anyways, we play pranks on each other. Tiffany [Thornton] is one of my new best friends, I love her TO DEATH! She and I were waiting to go into a scene, but our cue wasn’t up yet, but we had these bread rolls. We would roll them across the floor to see if anyone noticed. And no one noticed the entire time! So, hopefully they’ll show it in the episode, our bread rolling across the floor. I don’t know, we have this thing called “Ortho,” like this giant mannequin that has a horror face mask on it, so it’s completely scary. They’ll hide it in people’s rooms, or in their shower, or in their bathroom. Whoever got scared last will do it, it’s like a chain thing. Someone even put a camera on it, too. They hid it in my room one time and it scared the living crap out of me!

JJJ: What’s your favorite memory of filming so far? How many episodes have you filmed?

DL: We’ve filmed 15 episodes and we have six left, but I don’t want it to be over yet because I’ve had so much fun! One of my favorite memories was last Friday when we were shooting and we just couldn’t stop laughing. I had had too much sugar, and two red bulls, so I was bouncing off the wall and I couldn’t stop laughing. We were all dying laughing, it was hilarious. There was no joke, we were just ridiculous. It was awesome.

JJJ: Miley Cyrus has been to your house for meatloaf…What did you guys do when she came over?

DL: Tiffany was over with her best friend Alicia, so the four of us were just hanging out in my room. Then we had dinner, there was lots of laughing, and then later Miley left with Justin [Gaston]. She’s hilarious! She fit right into my family, too! She had never met my whole entire family at once, but Tiffany had done an episode of Hannah Montana, so we all obviously knew each other. And, yeah, we were just hanging out and it was funny.

JJJ: Your friend Taylor [Swift] had her music on Grey’s Anatomy and she guest starred on CSI. Is there a show that you would want to guest star in or have your music on?

DL: I want to guest star on 30 Rock, because that would just be amazing. Because Sonny with a Chance is kind of like 30 Rock, and because Tina Fey is like, my home girl. She doesn’t know that, but, I love her. That would be amazing if I could guest star on that.

JJJ: How are you celebrating Valentine’s Day?

DL: I don’t know, I’m going to be in California…I’ll be with Tiffany and we’ll celebrating her birthday! No boys…(laughs)…you know, I don’t need a boy on Valentine’s Day!

hey everybody :D


i know it's late, but i can't sleep mainly because i wanted to fill everybody in on what's been on my mind lately. first off i wanted to tell everyone thank you for even reading this. the fact that you're taking the time out of your day to hear me blab about life is pretty cool so thanks for listening! haha


basically i can't sleep because i'm so happy. hahaha sounds so ridiculously corny but honestly i feel like a new person. 2009 has started off to be the best year of my life which sounds impossible because 08' was INCREDIBLE! i started a new tv show (WHICH AIRS FEB. 8TH..... AHHH!), i released an album (WHICH RE-RELEASES THIS MONTH TOO :P ), and meatloaf wednesday was invented!! :D

seriously though, just thinking about the opportunities alone that i've been blessed with this year puts a huge smile on my face.. but there's so much more to life than just work (in a good way) and i've realized this because i'm finally really enjoying time at home. i have an incredible group of new (and "old") friends, my family and i have a stronger bond than ever before, and i'm really growing as a person. (no seriously i think i grew an inch...... :P just kidding.)


but honestly i feel like a new person. and in the best way possible. over the past few months i've really just changed my perspective on life and it's really made me mature into a "new me". it's weird, i've even been dressing more "girly" because i've gained a lot of confidence in myself and my appearance. mainly because i've been working out a whole bunch just staying fit and eating healthy... it feels amazing. i even have PINK nail polish on my toes which has nothing to do with confidence but i just find it weird because i haven't worn that since like.. 8th grade... haha. but i've just become a brighter and happier person because i'm finally comfortable in my new home here in california, getting more time to spend with my family and i've been building strong and amazing friendships with new friends.

i've just been trying new things, for example, new hobbies and a new hair color! :P i've even been listening to different genres of music to try to increase my writing skills and well, just because i want to! haha. i never really listened to anything but rock but i've really been into like hip hop and country.. even classic R&B. the classic R&B like aretha and billie holiday, have so much soul and passion in their music... it's been inspiring me and my writing so much lately. i really want my next album to have more passion and soulful songs on it rather than "rah i hate you, you broke my heart" type of songs... haha. think more of john mayer, or duffy.. or even kelly clarkson in her bluesy days.


i think over this next year you all are going to watch me evolve into a new person. and no i'm not "changing" like i promised i wouldn't in LA LA LAND.... but i'm growing. besides teenagers change a million times before they truly find themselves and i'm really beginning to find out more about myself each day.


so don't be scared if i start to wear less black or eye-makeup. haha. i'm not changing.. just maturing.. and you all are helping me so much. each time i meet a fan it boosts my happiness. i wouldn't be doing any of this without you... without your support... without your loyalty... and without your smiles when i look out into the audience.


i love you guys.


now i'm gonna go to bed before my mom yells at me.. hahaha. (i know... that makes me sound REAL cool.)
