Making her way out of town, Selena Gomez was spotted passing through the security line at Los Angeles International Airport on Wednesday afternoon (November 19).

While there, the “Wizards of Waverly Place” darling bumped into “Twilight” star Taylor Lautner, with the two exchanging a quick remark before resuming their attention to the security task at hand.

Meanwhile, Selena recently sat down for an interview with OK! magazine talking about her best friend Demi Lovato and her love of the TV show “Friends.”

Speaking about Demi, whom she’s been chummy with since the young age of 7 years old, Selena gushes, “I want the best for Demi, and she wants the best for me.”

As for her “Friends” addiction, the Disney starlet tells, “I watched it every single night before I went to bed. I am obsessed with it! I bawled when it was over.”

Demi recently admitted that she looks up to Paramore’s Hayley Williams as a fashion icon. She shared, “She has great style in her videos. I look up to her.” Hmm, wonder if Demi and Hayley met up last night?

Hey Everyone-- November 17th, 2008

There was recently a quote released about me saying that I don't write songs about ex boyfriends, I may have been misunderstood and would like to clear that up. Most of my songs are about love, I am a 16 year old teenager and I sing about what is on every girls mind. Love. What I was implying was that the songs I sing about, the boys who have hurt me or that are no longer in my life don't deserve a song to be written about them but, that's impossible. Writing and singing is a gateway to sharing and getting out feelings. I hope that I have cleared up any confusion I may have caused to my fans! You guys rock and mean the world to me!

Wizards of Waverly Place co-stars Selena Gomez and Jake T. Austin skipped over the red carpet and snuck into the private concert at the Roxy Theater in Hollywood on Friday night.

Selena, 16, is rumored to be dating the youngest musical bro, Nick, 16.

hey everybody!

just checking in on you guys. I'm on my lunch break at work right now (Sonny With A Chance) and i've been thinking about you all. i wanted to say something that's been on my mind lately..

I've been talking to a few fans lately and i've been fortunate enough to maintain a friendship with them over myspace or emails and even though our lives are completely different, we still have one thing in common; having trouble dealing with the cruelty of others. or some people call it bullying. i've dealt with it before until i made the decision to homeschool but sometimes it seems as if it doesn't just end in high-school. sometimes i get online and read blogs (which i probably shouldn't if i can't handle it) and read the horrible things that people say in comments... and it can really take a toll on you. verbal abuse can be just as harmful as physical abuse. the fans that i have stayed in touch tell me all the time that they're either being harassed online or being beaten at school and it hurts me to hear that. i took the easy road out and decided to homeschool but unfortunately not everyone has that option. so as a message to everyone.. please keep in mind when you're about to threaten someone, make fun of them or leave blog comments about them.... that what you say or do to others can truly affect someone. and as cheesy and lame as it may sound.. never forget the golden rule.


and by the way. i wanted to say how thankful i am for you all.
I'm so honored to be in the position that I'm in.
you all have saved me.

i've been listening to some great music lately;
jon foreman *, jon mclaughlin *, dave barnes, conor oberst, the cab *, and phantom planet.

bought a ton of books:
on the second twilight book. also reading the scarlet letter and perks of being a wallflower (because i've always wanted to but never actually purchased the book)
although i was hesitant about reading the twilight series books because i figured it was just a new trend, but i've found that it is much more than a series and i couldn't put the books down. literally, you have to take it out of my hands before i will stop reading them.


anyway that's all for now.
i hope what i said makes people think a little.
it's only a cruel world if we make it cruel.

JJ: You recently attended the Another Cinderella Story premiere starring Selena Gomez. You two seem like such good friends. Do you have a best friend in the business?

TS: I’d say Selena Gomez is definitely my best friend in the business. We talk all the time, almost everyday. She’s just such a cool person because she’s so real and a lot of times people get to a level where they’re famous and people know them, people recognize them and they become…less real and Selena’s so cool because she’s got a great sense of humor, she’s a real person. It’s really awesome to have gotten to know her and have her in my life.
